A vertical CNC machining center is a metal-cutting machine designed primarily for milling operations, with the spindle positioned vertically relative to the worktable. The workpiece is fixed on a horizontal table, while machining is performed through controlled movements along the X, Y and Z coordinate axes. This configuration is widely used for machining parts of various shapes and sizes and is suitable for one-off, small-batch and serial production.
Vertical machining centers allow a wide range of technological operations to be performed:
- milling of flat surfaces and slots;
- drilling and boring of holes;
